REVERSE CHESSISM
Bill Cosby can’t play chess. On his Thursday night shows, Cosby has tried, on occasion, to play with his son and father-in-law. While watching the Nov. 21 episode, it occurred to me why he never wins: He doesn’t know how to set-up the chessboard.
According to World Chess Federation Part I, Article 2.2: “The chessboard is placed between the players in such a way that the corner square to the right of each player is white.”
