Pierce 27, Moorpark 14--Pierce won the inaugural Brahma Bowl, unraveling a close game with two touchdown passes by Josh Davis in a 10-minute span of the second half.

The win ran Pierce’s streak at Shepard Stadium to 15 games and its streak against the Raiders to 11 games. The Brahmas haven’t lost at home since 1982 and haven’t lost to Moorpark ever.

The thumping of the Raiders left Pierce, champions of the Southern California Conference for the third straight year, with a 9-2 overall record. Moorpark, which gained a share of the Western State Conference title for the first time since 1970, finished 8-3.
