A diary for teen-agers with leukemia, Hodgkins disease and other forms of cancer is being made available to them by the San Diego chapter of the Leukemia Society of America.

The 20-page booklet--titled “What It Is That I Have, Don’t Want, Didn’t Ask For, Can’t Give Back, and How I Feel About It”--contains entries made by other adolescents who have coped with these diseases, and on each page is added space for the reader to write his or her feelings about diagnosis and treatment of a malignant disease.

About 1,300 teen-agers are diagnosed with leukemia and Hodgkins disease each year, said a chapter spokesman, but the cure rates for these malignant diseases are among the best for all forms of cancer.
