Holiday Recipe Collection of Soap Opera Stars

The California Raisin Advisory Board has teamed up with NBC’s daytime drama stars to produce a recipe collection/cookbook. The proceeds from the book will benefit underprivileged American children through Save the Children’s domestic development programs. (Save the Children is a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to needy children in 44 countries throughout the world.)

Entitled, “Holiday Favorites From the Stars,” the cookbook contains 22 holiday recipes for hors d’oeuvres, entrees, gift ideas, condiments and desserts. The book also includes full color photographs plus comments from the stars who share their holiday memories.

Some of the actors include Peter Reckell, Bo Brady of “Days of Our Lives,” whose contribution is warm party Brie; David Forsyth, Hogan McCleary of “Search For Tomorrow,” shares chocolate noel tarts; Taylor Miller, Sally Frame-Ewing of “Another World,” features Miller’s mocha morsels and gingerbread cookies, and Louise Sorel, Augusta Lockridge of “Santa Barbara,” offers holiday stollen.
