Stanton : Police Arrest Two Men on Kidnaping Charges
Anaheim police arrested two men on suspicion of kidnaping hours after a woman and her son were forced into an auto outside their Stanton apartment Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Booked at Orange County Jail were Carlos J. Grinaldo, 21, of Santa Ana and Romero A. Guitterez, 22, of Anaheim, police said. Bail was set at $50,000.
The woman, Norma Zuniga, 18, and her 3-year-old son were not hurt, Stanton Police Lt. Jay Mendez said. The woman was acquainted with at least one of the men, Mendez said.
A relative of Zuniga notified Anaheim police of the incident, Mendez said. Police located the woman, her son and the men in a parked car in Anaheim and made the arrests without encountering resistance, he said.
