Venice : Teacher in Running for Award

Larry Shapiro, Venice High School’s photography instructor, is one of 11 finalists for the Bravo Award, which is given by the Los Angeles Music Center to outstanding teachers who use art in the classroom. A total of 138 teachers were nominated. Award recipients will be announced at a dinner in March.
