Garden Grove : Stabbing Victim’s Body Found in Buena Clinton
A Garden Grove man was found stabbed to death early Friday in the second fatal stabbing this week in the blighted Buena Clinton area.
Police believe the incidents were not related.
The body of Victor Gutierrez Perez, 37, of Garden Grove was found about 1 a.m. near his car in front of the Clinton Elementary School, just blocks from his Keel Avenue apartment, according to Police Sgt. Bruce Beauchamp. Perez had suffered multiple stab wounds.
“It looks like robbery is probably the best idea of a motive,” Beauchamp said. “However, (investigators) are just getting into it.”
Wednesday morning, the body of stabbing victim Scott Raymond Hall, 20, of Fountain Valley was discovered on Keel Avenue in Buena Clinton, less an half a mile from where Perez’s body was found, Beauchamp said.
Police said they have no suspects or witnesses in either death.
