A 15-year-old girl was charged with the rape of a USC student and the robbery of two of the victim’s companions. District attorney’s spokesman Al Albergate said the 15-year-old held a gun on the USC students while her co-defendant, William Nash, 24, robbed them. In a petition filed in Compton Juvenile Court, prosecutors charged the girl with two counts of robbery and one count each of rape, forced oral copulation, kidnaping for robbery, grand theft and attempted robbery. Albergate said the charges against the girl were filed because prosecutors believe she was an accomplice. The teen-ager and Nash, who also has been charged, allegedly confronted the three 20-year-old USC students at gunpoint last Wednesday night in the 3500 block of South Figueroa Street near the campus, taking $800 worth of jewelry from one woman and $108 in cash from another. They then forced the third student to drive to a vacant house nearby, where Nash allegedly raped her and left her.
