Anaheim : Man Is Fatally Injured in Drive-By Shooting

A 26-year-old man sitting in a parked car in an Anaheim neighborhood was killed early Christmas Day when he was struck by several shots fired from a passing pickup truck, police said.
The victim, Jose Franco of Anaheim, was parked in the 700 block of North Bush Street when the shots were fired at about 12:13 a.m., Police Sgt. Jack Jansen said. Paramedics took Franco by helicopter to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, where he died from several bullet wounds to his upper body.
Witnesses said two people were in the pickup truck, which stopped briefly, then sped away after the shooting.
No suspects have been arrested and police know of no motive for the shooting.
