Dean Scores 30 as UCLA Women Win, 79-59
NEW ORLEANS —
Senior guard Anne Dean scored a career-high 30 points Thursday night to lead the UCLA women to a 79-59 victory over New Orleans in a nonconference basketball game.
Dora Dome scored 13 points and Kristi Moore 11 for UCLA, while Sue Mead had 11 rebounds and Dana Childs 10.
The Bruins, whose next game is Saturday night against Louisiana Tech at Ruston, La., raised their record to 6-6.
