Pasadena : Commissioner Resigns
Channing Johnson, a developer of the city’s Lake-Washington redevelopment project, has resigned his position on the Pasadena Planning Commission because of possible conflicts of interest. Johnson, who is also a lawyer, resigned his post as planning commissioner after being told by City Atty. Victor Kaleta that he must quit or dispose of his interest in Watt/Johnson Development Co., developers of the redevelopment project at Lake Avenue and Washington Boulevard.
