Usher’s Heart Surgery Is Called Successful
Harry Usher, commissioner of the United State Football League, underwent successful hear surgery Thursday at St. John’s Hospital and Health Center in Santa Monica, a hospital spokesmen said.
Usher entered the hospital Dec. 21 after complaining of chest pains. The surgery was postponed, and he was discharged Dec. 31.
Usher was previously executive vice president and genera manager of the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee.
