Wallace Leaves Hospital

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Gov. George C. Wallace returned home Saturday from a weeklong stay in the hospital, saying he expects to be back at the Capitol when the Legislature convenes Tuesday.
Wallace, 66, was hospitalized Jan. 4 for a urinary tract infection.
“I’ll probably send my (state-of-state) message to the Legislature” on the session’s opening day, he said. “But I’ll be there.”
