An investor group clarified its Viacom position.

A partnership led by top JMB Realty executives told the SEC that it made two errors in a filing earlier this week concerning its stake in the New York-based entertainment company. The JMB-led group said it shouldn’t have omitted a statement that it “holds the shares for investment purposes” and also said it overestimated its percentage holding. The group said it owns about 11.56% instead of 11.78%.
