Alemany Opens With Shutout Over Canyon

Shannon Lambert and Sondra Shatkin scored one goal each in the first half as Alemany shut out Canyon, 2-0, in the Golden League opener for both teams.

Lambert assisted Shatkin on her score and Vicky Wagonbach assisted Lambert. It was the third shutout for Alemany goalkeeper Lisa Gonzalez in 13 games.

Alemany is 9-3-1 overall.
