Raiders’ Loss Was Ugly, but Fans Were No Better
The ugly loss to the New England Patriots was hard to take as a Raider fan, but worse was the ugly way the fans acted at game’s end.
I’m a paraplegic, wheelchair-bound for life. I was sitting in the wheelchair section of the Coliseum that Sunday. Having beer thrown on or over me, people fighting, verbally abusing each other is bad enough, but it finally spilled over into the wheelchair section where a chair person was hit.
How about a “commitment” to ushers and security people that will put a stop to the ugly scenes of fan abuse?
