Little Lake District to Receive Extra Lottery Revenues

Share

After finding out that it will receive more money from the state Lottery than anticipated, the Little Lake City School District has postponed a decision on how to spend the revenue.

The Board of Trustees was to take up the matter Tuesday, but Supt. John Pulice said the school staff will “go back to the drawing board” to come up with a new project list. The item should come before trustees next month.

Pulice said the district has learned it will receive $190,000, which is $70,000 more than anticipated.

He said the district will compile a master plan for Lottery fund expenditures based on input from staff, board and community opinion. Proposed projects include textbooks, library books and after-school sports.
