Women’s Basketball Roundup : Miller Leads Trojans with 32
Cheryl Miller scored 32 points, pulled down 18 rebounds and had 4 assists to lead the USC women’s basketball team past Stanford, 81-59, Saturday night in a Pac West game at Palo Alto.
Cynthia Cooper added 15 points for the fifth-ranked Trojans (16-2, 3-0). Stanford fell to 11-8, 0-2.
Cal State Long Beach 97, Cal State Fullerton 53--Center Cindy Brown scored 26 points as Long Beach breezed to an in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. game at Fullerton.
The win improved the Long Beach’s record to 14-2 overall and 4-0 in league play. Fullerton is 6-11 and 4-2.
