$1.2 Million Contract Let for King Center
The San Diego City Council Monday voted to award a $1.2 million contract to Cairo Construction Co. to build a recreation building at the Martin Luther King Community Park on Skyline Drive in Southeast San Diego.
The center, which is being built with federal block grant money, will take at least a year to construct and will include meeting rooms and an auditorium, Asst. City Manager John Lockwood said.
