National Basketball Assn. Western Conference coaches added the league’s top scorers, Adrian Dantley of Utah and Alex English of Denver, and five other players to the West’s team for the 1986 NBA All-Star game.
Besides the two proficient forwards, centers Akeem Olajuwon of Houston and Artis Gilmore of San Antonio, and guards Rolando Blackman of Dallas, Clyde Drexler of Portland and Marques Johnson of the Clippers were chosen for the West squad.
