USC will bring a somewhat frustrated team into tonight’s Pac West women’s basketball game against UCLA at the Sports Arena.

The Trojans, who have 17-3 overall and 3-0 conference records, lost an emotional game Tuesday night to Cal State Long Beach, 76-75. Cheryl Miller scored 31 points and had 16 rebounds in the defeat by the No. 7-ranked 49ers. USC was ranked No. 4 in this week’s AP poll.

Miller leads the Trojans with averages of 26.4 points and 11.7 rebounds a game. Cynthia Cooper, a senior guard, is averaging 18.2 points a game, even though she is playing with a broken finger on her shooting hand.

UCLA (9-11 and 1-2) is coming off a 96-77 loss to San Diego State Tuesday night. Ann Dean is averaging 14.5 points for the Bruins. UCLA’s outside shooters, Dora Dome and Shari Biggs, are averaging 12.7 and 10.2 points a game, respectively. Coach Billie Moore’s Bruins will need their perimeter shooting against the Trojans’ full-court press.

Game time is 7:30.
