Former Rep. Jerry M. Patterson and Richard A. Nunis, executive vice president of Walt Disney Productions in Burbank, have been appointed to newly created seats on the board of PNB Financial Group, the holding company for Pacific National Bank in Newport Beach.

Patterson, a Democrat who represented the 38th District from 1975 through 1984, was a senior member on the House Banking Committee and sponsored numerous banking laws. An Anaheim resident, Patterson is a partner in the Los Angeles banking law firm of Leff & Mason, although he said he expects to join another firm soon. Patterson also has announced plans to run this year for the Orange County Board of Supervisors’ seat being vacated by Ralph Clark.

Nunis, a Laguna Beach resident, is head of Walt Disney Productions’ theme parks Disneyland, Walt Disney World and the proposed Disneyland International in France.
