David S. Walesiak, formerly student activities adviser at Northview High School in Covina, has been named assistant principal at Glendora High School. He was appointed by the Glendora Unified School District board. During 18 years as an educator, Walesiak has been an elementary and junior high school teacher and assistant principal of a middle school in the Covina-Valley Unified School District.
R. Wade Askew, director of curriculum for the Arcadia Unified School District, has been named to the new position of assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction. The other assistant superintendent, John Nelson, is responsible for business. They report to John Sinclair, associate superintendent, and Stephen Goldstone, superintendent.
