More on Prop. 13
I resent the implication that pre-Proposition 13 buyers are slobs, shirkers of our duty, or whatever. We worked as hard to buy and keep a house 10 or 20 years ago as buyers do today. Moreover, before Proposition 13, many homeowners were forced out of their houses by tax increases that they simply could not afford.
