A man and a woman were booked for attempted murder early Tuesday, shortly after Orange County sheriff’s deputies found two men shot and wounded in a San Juan Capistrano bar.

Martin Gonzales, 23, was found with a gunshot wound to his chest outside the Tail of the Swallow bar shortly after midnight Tuesday, Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Bob Rivas said. Deputies found a second man, Able Cisneros, 19, with a gunshot wound to his neck inside the bar at 32281 Camino Capistrano.

The two underwent surgery at Mission Community Hospital, where Gonzales was listed in serious condition and Cisneros was described as critical.

Deputies arrested Andrew Julian Erro, 45, and Pamela Sue Burns, 34, and charged them with attempted murder. Both were in the county jail Tuesday night, where their bail was set at $250,000 each.

The victims and the alleged assailants are all San Juan Capistrano residents, said Rivas, who added that deputies did not have a motive for the shooting. An investigation is continuing.
