Roger B. Smith, in a kickoff address for the Chicago Auto Show, said that last week’s executive realignment won’t hurt GM’s critical Saturn Corp. auto project. Saturn President William Hoglund was appointed to head GM’s Buick-Oldsmobile-Cadillac Group and Richard LeFauve was named to succeed him. Smith told reporters that he had no worries about removing Hoglund. “We’re getting the right man at the right time,” he said of LeFauve.
