The Older the Better
I want to oppose the silly idea a reader gave about a guide describing old sights or anything old like 100 years. Why does a person like this even go to Europe? What we like is some history, the older the better. I even like to see pictures showing prewar areas, so I can see how beautiful the areas once were before we bombed them away. Anything medieval or older is fascinating to most people, as we have such a short history in the U.S.A. Otherwise, what’s the point in just going through a country and knowing nothing except that you had a trip there?
