Reagan’s State of Union Message
President Reagan wishes to equate the American government with an American family. In that context the present Administration could be compared to a man who is hardly able to provide his children with proper nutrition, decent clothing and adequate housing, yet goes deeply into debt to buy an expensive car with which to impress his neighbors.
