The only adult member of MOVE who survived the fiery police attack on the radical group’s headquarters in Philadelphia was found guilty of rioting and conspiracy in connection with the confrontation last May 13, which left 11 people dead and destroyed 61 homes. Ramona Africa, 30, was acquitted on 10 other counts, including aggravated and simple assault, reckless endangerment and resisting arrest. Judge Michael Stiles reduced Africa’s bail from $1.1 million to $200,000 and scheduled a sentencing hearing for April 14. She could be given a maximum prison term of 17 years.
