Marantz Reports Sales Rose 135% in January

Marantz announced that its sales last month were $4.3 million, up 135% from sales of $1.9 million in January, 1985. The Chatsworth-based home electronics company said it made the disclosure so that all its shareholders would have equal information. Marantz explained that some of its shareholders are home electronics dealers who already knew of the sales increase.
