Freeway Fatality Identified: A man who was killed in a crash on the Santa Ana Freeway Thursday has been identified as 60-year-old Francisco Ramirez of Los Angeles, a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol said Friday. Ramirez was driving north near Brookhurst Street when his car struck the rear of a tractor-trailer rig that had stopped because of a minor accident. Ramirez’s Chevrolet Nova lodged under the truck. His passengers, Jose Ramirez, 47, and Hermina del Real, 44, both of Los Angeles, suffered minor injuries. They were listed in stable condition at Fountain Valley Community Hospital. The truck driver, Benjamin Morales, 47, also of Los Angeles, was not injured.
