Moved by Buchwald’s McAuliffe Tribute

I am a teacher who wishes to express my deep appreciation to Art Buchwald’s extreme sensitivity in paying tribute to teachers, generally, and Christa McAuliffe, specifically (“Christa McAuliffe Left Legacy on Earth,” Feb. 6). This is the first time I have ever read Buchwald on the serious side. His profound depth of sadness helps me understand further how and why he is the clever, humorous satirist he is.
