Former heavyweight boxer Ron Lyle faces an April 7 court hearing on two assault charges stemming from a fracas last Friday at the boxing club where he worked as a trainer.
Lyle, 44, is accused of beating the female owner of Ron Lyle’s Ringside in west metropolitan Denver and of assaulting a man and shoving a police officer, Mike Heylin, a police spokesman in Lakewood, Colo., said.
