Connelly and Sinn Earn Uniden Berths
Lynn Connelly and amateur Pearl Sinn, the 1985 California State High School champion, earned the final two openings Friday for the Uniden LPGA Invitational at Mesa Verde Country Club Feb. 27-March 2.
Connelly, a second-year pro, shot a two-over-par 74 at the Mesa Verde course. Sinn qualified with a 75. Sinn, an Arizona State freshman, is the first amateur in three years to advance from the qualifying round to the Uniden tournament field.
Mardell Wilkins, who shot a 76, is the first alternate.
