Westminster : Suspect Sought in 2 Barroom Stabbings
Two men were injured, one critically, during a barroom brawl early Saturday morning in Westminster.
Saturday night, Westminster police were seeking a stocky Latino male suspect, known only as Tony, for investigation of attempted murder.
Police Sgt. Philip Martinez said police were called to the Boardwalk Hofbrau on Westminster Boulevard at about 1:40 a.m. Saturday to investigate a stabbing.
When the officers arrived, the victims and their assailant were gone, Martinez said, but the officers soon found two injured men in a residential neighborhood southwest of the bar.
Jack G. Templeton, 24, of Westminster was taken to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital in critical condition with a lacerated liver.
Raymond Eugene Mondragon, 25, of Garden Grove was treated by the same hospital for a stab wound to the arm. Police were continuing their investigation into the stabbing, Martinez said.
