Laguna Greenbelt Mistaken Identity
I wish to correct a letter by Tom Alexander, the former president of Laguna Greenbelt. His complaint of conflict of interest is based upon a case of mistaken identity.
It is true that I was commended by the Orange County Transportation Commission for service to its Citizens Advisory Committee.
It should be noted, however, that the monthly newsletter to which Alexander refers came out a full year ago.
It is not true that I am the senior vice president for planning and corporate affairs of the Mission Viejo Co. That is Van Stevens. My last name is spelled Stephens. I am also a Lagunatic!
Alexander should do his research before belittling a worthy commission.
