Bernard Hinault of France won the third Tour of Valencia region cycling race, even though he wasn’t among the leaders in the final race at Valenica, Spain.
Jorge Mueller of Switzerland won the last leg over 41 miles in 1 hour 27 minutes 30 seconds.
Hinault topped the final standings of the five-day, 520-mile race in 23:17:10, followed by Jesus Blanco of Spain, three seconds behind, and Mueller, five seconds back.
