7 Airlines Interrupt Philippine Flights

MANILA —
Seven international airlines canceled flights to Manila today for security reasons, airport officials said, but will resume them later this week.
The flights involved included United, out of San Francisco and Honolulu, Northwest Orient from Washington, Qantas from Australia, China Airlines from the United States, Garuda from Jakarta, Indonesia; Saudi Air from Jidda, Saudi Arabia; and Continental Air Micronesia from Guam.
