Maneuvers for Battleship

PANAMA CITY —
U.S. Navy personnel Wednesday readied the battleship Iowa for two-week military exercises off the Pacific coast of Central America. “The primary purpose of our operation is training and to underscore and emphasize our support for the people in Central America,” Capt. Gerald E. Gneckow said during a news conference aboard ship.
