Lomita : ‘Symbolic’ Park Dedication

Pete Rossick, president of Lomita Sister Cities Assn., announced that there will be a “symbolic” dedication of a new downtown park on March 15.
The park will commemorate Lomita’s ties with her sister city, Takaishi, Japan. It will be located in the north circle area, in front of City Hall.
Because plans for the park have not been completed, the dedication will be symbolic, represented by the planting of one cherry tree, Rossick explained.
