Culver City : Council OKs New Bus Plan

The City Council has approved the 1987-91 transit plan for the Municipal Bus Line.
The plan calls for more frequent service on Line 3 and modifications on Line 4 so that it would better serve the new Producer’s Building at Washington Boulevard and Madison Avenue, the new shopping center on Jefferson Boulevard near Sawtelle Boulevard, the Studio Village shops and the main post office.
Weekday bus service on Sawtelle between Overland Avenue and Sepulveda Boulevard would be discontinued.
The proposed service changes will be discussed at a public hearing at 7 p.m. on June 4.
