Arborlake Condos Open in Carmel Del Mar Development

Arborlake opens this weekend in Carmel Del Mar, a 1,000-acre residential development by the Baldwin Co., with 28 one- and two-bedroom condominiums priced from $81,900 to $108,900.

Four floor plans will be available, ranging in size from 742 to 1,081 square feet, with twin master suites in one plan and lofts in others. Move-ins are scheduled for late summer. Arborlake, east of Del Mar in San Diego’s North City West area, will eventually have 186 dwelling units.

A monthly homeowners association fee of $95 will pay for maintenance of extensive landscaping and waterscaping, including a recreation center on an island in the center of a large artificial lake. The center includes a pool, spa and cabana. Carmel Del Mar will have about 6,000 housing units of all types, including single-family houses and apartments.

Standard features in the units at Arborlake include wood parquet entries, fireplaces, hardwood kitchen cabinets with ceramic tile counter tops and built-in appliances.

Four models are currently under construction. A sales center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 2960 E. Carmel Valley Road, reached from the eastbound Carmel Valley Road exit of Interstate 5.
