Man Shot in N.Y. Subway Incident

NEW YORK —
A man was shot and critically wounded on a subway train Sunday after he stepped on the foot of a woman passenger, police said.
Two companions of the woman were charged with attempted murder in the shooting. They allegedly began arguing with the man after he stepped on the woman’s toes and then shot him in the neck, a police spokeswoman said.
