Chlorine Leak Forces 400 to Flee in Louisiana Town

RESERVE, La. —
A chlorine gas leak Wednesday forced more than 400 people from homes and buildings in a section of Reserve, but there was no report of injuries, officials said. Half a ton of chlorine leaked from a cylinder that ruptured after it fell off a truck, a spokeswoman for St. John the Baptist Parish sheriff’s office said.
