Walker Seated as Valley Board President

Temmy Walker, Valley regional manager and Sherman Oaks office sales manager of Fred Sands Realtors, has been installed as president of the 8,000-member San Fernando Valley Board of Realtors.

She has been a director of the California Assn. of Realtors for the past five years and is a member of the legislative contact team of the National Assn. of Realtors.

Steve Reynor is the new vice president. New realtor directors are Buddy Bernard, Al Bowers, Tom Carnahan, Martin de Haas, Tom DePuy, Richard Franklin, Roger Hance, Connie Jones, Joan Knox, Malcolm MacEwen, John Maquar, Becky Roberts, William Taylor, Hy Terman and Bess Tobyansen.

New real estate associate directors are Helen Gabriel, Steven Gribin, Jeff Kahn, Carolyn Lamb and Irene Reinsdorf.

Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley administered the oath of office to the incoming officers and announced the selection of Chuck Lamb as the board’s Realtor of the Year and of Irene Reinsdorf as the Realtor Associate of the Year. Buddy Bernard, a member of the organization’s board of directors, served as master of ceremonies.

Other political leaders attending the ceremony included Rep. Bobbi Fiedler (R-Northridge), Supervisor Mike Antonovich, Assembly members Tom Bane (D-Van Nuys), Marian La Follette (R-Northridge) and Cathie Wright (R-Simi Valley) and City Council members Ernani Bernardi, Hal Bernson and Joy Picus.
