Work Completed on Home Depot's San Diego Store

Construction has been completed on The Home Depot, a $2-million "do-it-yourself" commercial/retail complex in San Diego, according to Paul Muzzy, director of marketing for Trepte Construction Co., the general contractor.

The 100,000-square-foot building is located at Balboa and Genesee avenues in the Clairemont area. Home Depot began in 1979 and now has 48 warehouse-like stores throughout the United States. The average store is 90,000 square feet and carries more than 25,000 items.
