Drive Up to a Discount

Renting a Budget car can entitle you to discounts on deluxe rooms at 38 Hilton hotels in seven states: Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Denver, New Orleans, Albuquerque and Little Rock are some of the cities involved.

You can get a 25% discount on the rooms Monday through Thursday nights and 50% Friday through Sunday nights with a Budget car rental. The discount is available for the same number of days as your car rental. The offer is good through Dec. 31.

All Budget renters, including those renting at discounted or corporate rates, can take advantage of the hotel room discounts. However, you can’t combine the discounted room rate with any other hotel discount or group/convention rate.

Reservations (which can be as close to arrival as an hour or two ahead) are required for the hotel room discount, which is available on a capacity-controlled, space-available basis. Ask for the discount at the time of making your reservation. Deposits usually are not required.

Confirmation slips will be mailed to you if they can reach you 48 hours or more before your arrival. Otherwise, get the confirmation number over the phone. The confirmation will show the regular, not the discounted rate, but another notation will be made about this special promotional rate.

While the room will be on a confirmed basis, you have to arrive by 6 p.m. However, you can guarantee your room beyond this check-in period through use of most credit cards.

To obtain the discount at the hotel, show your Budget rental agreement at check-in.

According to Hilton, a deluxe room is the top of five room categories (other than suites or Tower rooms) that each Hilton hotel has. About 25% to 35% of the rooms at most Hiltons are in the deluxe category.
