A lottery will be used to distribute 40,000 free tickets to Americans wishing to attend the 100th anniversary celebration of the Statue of Liberty, the chairman of the extravaganza announced. David L. Wolper, Liberty Weekend executive producer and chairman, said that a total of 125,000 tickets for the festivities over the four-day weekend, July 3-6, will be available. A brochure that includes order forms for the paying events of Liberty Weekend may be obtained by sending $1 for postage and handling to Liberty, P.O. Box 2021, Murray Hill Station, New York, N.Y. 10156-0701.
