Sandra Good, a member of the murderous Charles Manson “family” who was released from prison last year, has moved to St. George, Vt.--much to the displeasure of some of its 600 residents. “What if she snaps one night and starts killing all her neighbors?” asked David Enman, chairman of the town’s selectmen. “. . . I’m really torn. She has a right to live anywhere she wants, but she was part of the Manson clan and could be a danger to all of us.” Good, 41, whose real name is Sandra Pugh, was paroled Dec. 2 from a West Virginia federal prison after serving 10 years of a 15-year sentence for threatening corporate officials. Manson is serving a life sentence in California for the 1969 Los Angeles murders of actress Sharon Tate and eight others. Charles Bristow, state public safety commissioner, said federal parole authorities did not notify the state of Good’s movements. “The feds didn’t tell us,” Bristow said. “Let’s just say I would have preferred to have been notified.”
