Construction has begun in San Diego on the $9.3-million School of Health Sciences at the Naval Hospital Complex in Balboa Park.

The 107,500-square-foot project will be used as a school for training enlisted medical personnel in advanced, specialized subjects and procedures to qualify them for duties as hospital corpsmen.

C. E. Wylie Construction Co. is building the three-story, steel-frame structure, designed by Williamson & Watts Architects of San Diego. Completion is scheduled in March, 1987.
